(Kii — pronounced like the car, Kia.)
Kii is the busiest site in the Rungeto Farmers Co-operative Society, receiving cherries from around 1,000 of the co-op's 1,300 member farmers. Their smallholdings sit on the foothills of an extinct volcano — Mt. Kenya — at around 1,700 metres above sea level.
Kenya produces some of the most exquisite coffee in the world, and we think that's not an opinion — it's a fact. Sparkling acidity, incredible floral aromatics, and an intensity of sweetness that's hard to find anywhere else. Blackcurrant and cola up front, brown sugar underneath.
This is Kenya doing what Kenya does best.
